Johnson Bank was ranked first nationwide for all regional lenders selling relief refinance loans to Freddie Mac. The bank handled 1,524 such loans totaling $264 million. Regional lenders include all lenders except the 14 largest designated by Freddie Mac as national lenders. Including the national lenders Johnson Bank ranked in the top 10. The bank also was listed 24th nationally in 2009 in total loan volume sold to Freddie Mac.
